Studio Tour

November 12, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Our Studio Tour was blessed with wonderful weather again this year. Many people turned out for the annual trek from studio to studio. Some actually made it to all of our studios in one day. That takes perseverance and energy. Patrons expressed great interest in the variety of mediums in which I work. It gave me an opportunity to share my enthusiam wiht them. Thank you!

It is an honor to be associated with the talented group of artists on this tour. If you didn’t come this year, try to make it next year; you won’t be disappointed.

Polymer Clay Beads

Polymer Clay Beads

This past week I spent a lot of time making polymer clay beads. Not having made clay beads before, I purchased a wonderful book by Ronna Sarvas Weltman – “Ancient Modern”. What drew me to this book was the organic look of the beads, with beautiful colors and unusual shapes. The picture above shows a sample of the beads that I made. I love holding them in my hands all at one time and moving them around. Now, I get to make some jewelry out of them! More pictures to come…
